Why velociPost exists.
I've spent thirty+ years leading revenue and operations at lending and fintech companies — the kind of places where small businesses are the customer, not a buzzword. You watch a lot of great operators drown in things they shouldn't have to think about. Social media was one of them.
Every tool in the space seemed built for one of two people: the marketing director with a team and a budget, or the person willing to sit down every Sunday and fill a calendar by hand. Neither of those people is the plumber with 200 Google reviews. Neither is the solo agency owner running 12 clients from a kitchen table. Neither is the creator who'd rather spend an extra hour on their craft than ten minutes writing a caption.
For years the only real options were "hire someone" or "do it yourself." Both had the same outcome for most small operators — the posting fell off a cliff within a month, and the account stopped mattering to anyone.
AI changed the math. Not the hype version — the actual version, where a model can read your knowledge base, match your voice, write a post that sounds like you wrote it, and keep doing it every day without getting tired or bored. Suddenly the middle path was possible: software that does the work, while you stay in charge of what goes out.
That's what velociPost is. Not another scheduler with an AI button bolted on the side. A system built from the ground up around the assumption that the person running the business is the one who knows the brand best — and that their time is worth too much to spend on a caption-writing treadmill.
I'm building it for the operators I spent my career working with. The 200-review plumber. The one-person agency. The creator who still writes every caption at midnight. The boutique that deserves to show up in the feed even when the owner is closing the register. The people every other tool treats like an afterthought.
If you're one of them, I hope this works for you. And if something doesn't, I want to hear about it directly — that's why my email is on this page and not behind a chatbot.
